Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis employs a naturally occurring state of mind and it may surprise you to learn that we experience trance states often during our lives, even several times each day. Just drifting into ordinary sleep involves a kind of trance state.  As a trained hypnotherapist Sandra will assist you to achieve a trance state which can then be used to make deep and long lasting changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviour. No one can  be hypnotised against their will and you will not lose control. You are likely to remember most, if not all, of what was said. Hypnosis is a natural and effective way of making contact with the inner (unconscious) self, and is a purposeful co-operation between the therapist and client, to obtain a specific result, agreed upon beforehand. Sandra will take time with you to fully understand your difficulty and to agree with you a realistic outcome or required result before proceeding with the hypnotherapy.

Clinical hypnotherapy means the use of hypnosis for the treatment and relief of a variety of physical and emotional symptoms. The main criterion is that the cause of the presenting problem lies within the unconscious mind, often due to a traumatic 'seeding' event or to unintentional behavioural conditioning in early years.

It is estimated that approximately 85% of people of all age groups will readily respond to clinical hypnotherapy.
